Through looking at images, touching bones and hearing short explanations we will learn about the locations, names and functions of key muscles and bones involved in the practice of Hatha Yoga. We then apply this knowledge by practicing basic yoga poses to deepen and refine our awareness.
Learning anatomy helps connect our visual and verbal knowledge with kinesthetic experience, facilitating greater skill and deeper effects of the poses.
It's fun and super empowering to know more and feel more about how your body works
